It was through exploring and discovering that she came across numerous fitness and lifestyle blogs which opened her up to her own ideal world . She fell in love immediately.During her spare time, Adeline would enjoy reading through fitness and lifestyle blogs. At that point in her life, Adeline was very determined to create an ideal lifestyle for herself, one which she could follow through for the rest of her life. Going through all the fitness blogs, yoga stood out the most. It resonated with her because she wanted to create something that she could do even on her laziest day. YENIH’S DELITES: A CAMEROON JELLOF(JOLLOF) FEAST.

On this particular day, I was craving Cameroon Jellof rice but I really didn’t feel like cooking. I just wanted to stay in bed and catch up on 24: Legacy(I’m still pissed the show got cancelled…mscheeew!) Anyway, back to the matter. So I told myself “I’ll just go in, prepare a quick jellof rice and roasted chicken and I’m out of the kitchen.” So how did I end up with a feast? How Sway? Anywhooo, by now, I should know I don’t just get in and out…I get in and feast out. So that’s how yours truly came up with all of these. What’s on the menu? 1.) Cameroon Jellof Rice. 2.)Plantain cups filled with sautéed mixed peppers, prawns and kidney beans. 3.) Spicy Roasted Chicken. 4.)Potato Salad. ✌✌✌✌...

IT WAS A GLITZ AND GLAM AFFAIR AS THE EYANGO GIRLS SHOWCASE THEIR LATEST COLLECTION.

The Eyango girls were in town to showcase their latest collection. Mina and Kamala Eyango, founders of fashion brand Lavillenoire, held a pop-up shop for their latest collection. The collection was made up of fabulous, easy flowy and bold prints.   The event which was held at Topish Shop in Bastos, Yaounde, was attended by socialites and fashionistas alike. Also in attendance were the legendary Dedi Eyango(Mina and Kamala’s father) and Cameroonian MUA, Shaitou Cho, who was the make-up artist for the ladies. It was definitely a fabulous turnout at the half Cameroonian/ half Sri Lankan sisters’ fashion event. You glow girls!🖤🖤              ...
SPOTLIGHT: YENIH’S DELITES.

SPOTLIGHT: YENIH’S DELITES.

I remember my friend once asked me ‘What does cooking mean to you?’ and I replied “Cooking is a conversation with the soul”. That instantly resonated with her. She later on told that it switched  her mindset to start seeing cooking as a time to connect with her soul rather than a chore. With time, she started noticing great improvements in her cooking( and it had nothing to do with the fancy Wok her partner gave her as present). I love food but more importantly, I love to cook. I’ve always been fascinated about the science behind cooking. How one can can instinctively and rightfully blend spices and food together to make a delicious meal. I love the colours, the textures but most importantly, the taste of food. Through cooking, I realised the best meals come from your gut feeling and not from recipes. I realised your soul needs to be fully awake when cooking.(I realised that’s when the best meals are made, whether freestyle or well-known recipes.) Whether from Bombay to Bafut, the culture behind cooking/food moves me. For over 4 years now, I’ve been documenting my cooking. I’ve created a special segment on this blog where I’ll be sharing pictures and stories of my experiences during the process. With time, I also plan to share recipes so we can all participate in the cooking experience. I hope to entertain, inspire through my love for cooking. Let’s have...
FOUNDER OF TOOSHAI FACES TALKS BEAUTY, BULLYING AND STRENGTH WITH NEW PHOTOSHOOT.

FOUNDER OF TOOSHAI FACES TALKS BEAUTY, BULLYING AND STRENGTH WITH NEW PHOTOSHOOT.

Bullying can scar one for life. To overcome it leaves you powerful, superhuman powerful…ask Shaitou Cho, founder of  Tooshai Faces. The popular MUA recently shared a powerful message on her facebook  page, on how she overcame bullying. When I was younger I was bullied about my protruding forehead, and I grew up thinking it was a problem, so I always chose hairstyles that will cover it up. But curiously this bullying made me strong because I adopted and accepted all the nicknames that were levied on me because of this head. Ask my classmates and school mates and teachers from PSS Bafut, Eric Forbi Forbi, Yenih Ngwabo LI LI Forkum Mboka Ndeh Nelson Ndeh Golda K. Ajode Sylvia Yenwong-fai Malaika Nain Ngole Adjeley Yobo Solange Fonkem Beryl Litil Nubed-Tchuetie Lorraine Ndingwan it was just fun time for all of us. In the end I realised this was the most beautiful part of my body and what always made my looks stand out. I knew once you could love yourself and accept yourself as you are, no one will make you feel different, because God created you as you are in a unique way. So I”unveiled” the head 😂😂, if you can say that and started enjoying everything about me. To all of us who do body shaming, give love a chance, and to all those who don’t love something about themselves, know that you were created by God in a unique way and you are here to serve a purpose. Use everything you have and be the best you can be. Let people like Nick Vujicic, Turia Pitt, Muniba Mazari and a host of others be your inspiration. How powerful is this? Sinchang...
